doggone whether Steve Morse is boring or not, I'm still going to buy the new album, for the simple reason it's a Deep Purple album.
In fact I bought the Morse-powered albums in multiple brand new copies.
Purpendicular - I have 4 copies (2-LP and 2-CD)
Abandon - I have 3 copies (3-CD)
Bananas - I have 2 copies (2-CD)
ROTD - I have 4 copies (1-LP and 3-CD)
Now What?! - I have 5 copies (2-LP and 3-CD)
Infinite - I have 6 copies (3-LP and 3-CD)
I have many many Morse-powered live albums on vinyl and CDs.
....and I'm planning to buy more. What do you think?

Now if only "Bananas" and "Abandon" will be on vinyl, I'm sure I'll buy more than one copy.
By the way I have many Steve Morse Band and Dixie Dregs albums.

I say congratulations!! It's great that you still support the Purp's!! I just bought the one Zep CD I was missing even though it bores the heck out of me!! I have Banana's on vinyl. Wish they would get Abandon on vinyl also. I plan on buying anything else that comes out. I also have many Steve Morse and Dregs CD's and albums. The Dregs were one of my late brother's favorite bands! These are my thoughts, your turn.

The thing is even if Yngwie Malmsteen or Uli Jon Roth is the guitarist of Purple, still I'm gonna buy it.
I just listen to the first three tracks of Whitesnake's "Flesh & Blood", the guitar solos were very good...thats what I call hard rock solos. I can't say the same thing about Coverdale's voice.

So would I. Sometimes, especially during my morning workout, I will put on something I haven't listened to in years because I thought it was crappy and discover that I actually like it! Whitesnake's Slip of the Tongue and Zep's In Through the Out Door come to mind. Now I find them to be pretty good albums. I have to get the new Whitesnake album. Can't wait to hear it!

They halted the writing sessions for the new album to attend an award ceremony and Gillan use to say he is not very interested in the Rock Hall of Fame, is this more prestigious than the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame??
