Fury vs Wilder

Was bananas!! Great fight. I thought Fury should have won but it was close. I f Wilder doesn't get those 2 knockdowns Fury wins easily.

Can'r wait to see next fight. Mad props to Fury!

Re: Fury vs Wilder

The truth is I'm rooting for Deontay Wilder, because his boxing record reminds me of Rocky Marciano (49-0 with 43 KOs), one of my favorite heavyweight of all times. Deontay's 40-0 with 39 KOs (before his fight with Fury) is impressive, even higher knockout percentage than Rocky, though I think he fought and KOs more quality fighters than Wilder. I'm not talkin' about boxing skills or quality of opponents, I'm talking 'bout ring records.

That fight exposes Wilder weakness, even though he has the power to KO Fury, his draw is questionable and for me he lost his invincibility and I kind of lost interest.

Who's gonna be the next Rocky Marciano? Anthony Joshua's record is also impressive but he has a long way to go to equal Rocky's record and I don't think he will come close.

I'm interested in Joshua vs Fury now.

Truth be told Wilder fought a bunch of nobodies until he Luis Ortiz earlier this year. That was a good fight Ortiz had him reeling but give credit to Wilder for knocking out Ortiz in the 10th. Then he fought Fury.

Furry did beat Klitschko and Chisora - so his talent pool is slightly better. That said lets the second fight!!

I think Oleksander Usyk beats them all!! Including Joshua!

Re: Fury vs Wilder

Wilder may have fought many class b or c fighters, but thats part of the hyping the boxer and that's part of boxing today. Only his almost perfect record appeals to me and his knockout punch, I know he will have a hard time winning decision, especially skilled boxers who moved away from his knockout punch.

Your talking about the past, the days of Joe Louis, Sugar Ray Robinson, Marvin Hagler, etc. They always fight the #1 contender, the time when theres no IBF, IBO, WBO, or any alphabet acronyns.
