DP Gold and Platinum
I was curious so I looked this up on the RIAA sight for the U.S.
Certified gold: DVD Live 72/73, In Rock, Fireball, WDWTWA, Stormbringer, Burn, Single-SOTW
Platinum: (some have went Platinum more than once but I didn't list that) Deepest Purple, MH, MIJ, Perfect Strangers.
I remember reading in the early 1970's that Hush also went gold. Since Tetragrammaton Records went broke, I wonder if that is why this isn't listed?

Re: DP Gold and Platinum
I read that Very best of deep purple have sold way over 500000 too, but still haven't been certified.
If you read among all the inside text in the WDWTWA album, they claim some 4 million "records" sold in the US in the late sixties..?
Both Hush and Kentucky Woman over 800000 sold, guess Hush did climb to gold status?

Re: DP Gold and Platinum
I read the same thing too. Also, their managers stated this.
