Re: Vinyl re-releases
They look great, it will be interesting to hear how they sound compared with the originals.

I am guessing that they will be in the second phase.

Re:
They're pressed from digital remasters...what's the point? I was excited for these but now I'm skipping them.

Re: Vinyl re-releases
Yes, weird combo
Thought In Rock, Fireball, Machinehead, Who Do we Think we Are, Made in Japan as the first 5 then Burn, Sormbringer, Come Taste the Band, Made in Europe and Live in Japan as the second 5.

Re: Vinyl re-releases
All eight cost £126.99 as a package. £16.99 sold individuaally apart from MIJ which is £21.99.

Re: Vinyl re-releases
I already have recently bought In Machine Head and MIJ on heavyweight vinyl, recent releases. How much different can these really be?
And I heard the exclusion of In Rock and Fireball was because those are with a different label somehow.

That makes sense, usually a record label involved.
I would doubt that these would be an improvement on your recent purchases, other than the purple records are more aesthetically pleasing.
I still pay my original copies of MIJ, MIE, & LCIJ and they sound great.
