I probably watched it 8 times before it all sank in. I can now see why DC was interested in releasing this. And why those with the rights were asking (in DCs view) too much money. Its a cracking insight into that line up and the last time they played together. Even in only 9 minutes there is a lot to like and enjoy. Like the anticipation from the band as they wait during the intro music to perform in front of such a big and loud crowd. What powerful music. I really enjoyed properly seeing and clearly hearing each of the members contributions. And Crying in the Rain. Outstanding. Me again. Just can't stop watching this. I think there's no too much money for this. This is really, really great show and a historic moment. As it was e.g. last Lord's show (only if some early video recordings with Galley exists, apparently not). David should better think twice. nondisclosed_email@example.com (srdja ws)Wed, 17 Jan 2018 08:24:52 +0000 Re:https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p513969,from=rss#post513969https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p513969,from=rss#post513969Glad you've enjoyed, I was shocked when seeing it for the first time (in a good, take the breath away, way!). Sykes's rythm guitar doesn' fit pre-1987 songs really. But still, this is great. And it' worth official releasing. Thanks once again.nondisclosed_email@example.com (srdja ws)Thu, 21 Dec 2017 09:08:05 +0000 Re: Rock in Rio like you've never (potentially) heard or seen it beforehttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p513937,from=rss#post513937https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p513937,from=rss#post513937Wow!!!! I can't believe. Me too, I'm not a big fan of Lord and Galley and even Moody's Slide it in, but this is...unbelievable. Where did this come from? I think it's the 2nd gig and it has, as far as I can see, complete different camera mix and has Don't break my heart again. Once again: wow! I hope the complete show will appear. Thank you very much! nondisclosed_email@example.com (srdja ws)Thu, 21 Dec 2017 09:03:47 +0000 Re: Rock in Rio like you've never (potentially) heard or seen it beforehttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p513931,from=rss#post513931https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p513931,from=rss#post513931Wow, you aren't kidding! This is the cleanest footage of this gig I've ever seen! nondisclosed_email@example.com (RatBatBlu)Thu, 21 Dec 2017 02:35:53 +0000 Rock in Rio like you've never (potentially) heard or seen it beforehttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p513927,from=rss#post513927https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p513927,from=rss#post513927 So I was browsing You tube & browsed across this gem. Audio and visual far better than I've seen before. 9 minutes only. Now I'm not particularly a fan of that Galley/Lord less Slide it In version of the band. But wow wow wow! Also as an interesting aside is that the hidden member of that group (Richard Bailey) has posted the bits where he is on, on a separate post! Sit back, get your best cans, TV sound, or speakers on, & enjoy!! nondisclosed_email@example.com (stuartcuk)Wed, 20 Dec 2017 22:10:17 +0000
