Netherlands 1984, cancelled show

Does anyone remember why this show was cancelled?

The 1987 was cancelled due to high demand in the States as far as I can remember.
On internet I see that DC was ill in 1984 ?
A show with Lordy on my birthday 04 04 1984 is available on bootleg.
Was that his last appearance with the band before returning to the Deep Purple reunion?

I missed out on many great classic shows of the DP family and , for example Rainbow with Dio in 1977/1978, support was AC/DC then still with Bon Scott emoticon
So I tried with limited money to see shows as much.
After , in hindsight, concluding I missed several shows WITHOUT reason(Gillan - Bruinisse, Leiden. MSG MK 2 in Utrecht)this was another let down.

The show with replacement of Lordy, the more synthesizer approachman Bailey.

Re: Netherlands 1984, cancelled show

David lost his voice temporarly on 22th or 23th March 1984, so several shows had to be cancelled. He soon recovered (obviousely not completelly) and they had few gigs more with the MK6 from 1th until 7th April when Mel broke his arm in Ludwigshafen, as far as I remember. The last full show with Jon Lord was on 14th April in Stockholm and the last performance on Mandags Borsen Show (in Stockholm) two days later.
