abandoned live album from 1996?

some new, to me anyway, interview segments from 96 with blackmore. In one of these, when asked about wheter there will be a new live album, he says that he believes one is coming.
was he chatting along, or was there indeed plans for a live album?

RB often winds us up with promises.....I've no idea which gig he would be referring to?
I'm not aware they were taping gigs eg during Europe 1995 apart from rockpalast, which was done by WDR not the band or record company.
