...I do believe that just may be why she feels this way,but take into consideration that her hero is no longer with them,and you can easily see,that she doesn't have it in her to fully support them to an objective level to begin with,becuase of that.

Aerosmith and Bon Jovi aren't easy listening either,yes they are pop orented,but they don't go around calling theirselves easy listening,or "pop" for that matter,BJ have always considered themselves as AOR,and I doubt Aerosmith would admit to being that,but I can see them as such,that would be an outrage.

This stuff about Purple being a part of "TNWOBHM" is very ignorant indeed,because this phrase wasn't invented by journalists till the 80's,and Deep Purple never belonged to it,in the 70's they weren't even referred to as heavy metal,cos it wasn't exactly a wide used phrase yet.
I do however feel that the GILLAN band were apart of "TNWOBHM" and Rainbow may have been considered a part of it as well,depending on who you asked back then.
Journalists come up with these silly phrases,and in a way,the bands have no choice but to accept this.

It sounds to me like you're saying that your opinion should be the only one voiced.
This busness starts with your unfounded comments toward the current line up.
It never starts with me,cos you don't seem to get into it with me about anything,but what I disagree with you about.
