Yes, only the Blu-Ray is out today, the other stuff will be released in two weeks.

Another thing I've spotted: Gillan isn't shown singing in the video. The others play their instruments, but he doesn't sing. Whether there's a special reason behind it - no idea.

Theres so much to take in, someone mentioned nobody's perfect is referenced at 1:[sign in to see URL] I can't see.... can't totally recall the cover actually... apart from thro road. The woman seems to be the most ambiguous [sign in to see URL]? Strange kind of woman? Woman from Tokyo...... I've a feeling hush may have been alluded to with one f them putting their fingers to their mouth, but can't recall where. Superbly emotive video

It could be the angel that comes to the character in the Surprising lyrics, taking them from a stormy period to smoother seas.
IE:the whole thing could be an allegorical look back at the last (near) 50 years of the band, taken from one singer's perspective? The video certainly could seem to evoke that possibility.

good suggestion re the surprising lyrics for the woman. taking your idea further, perhaps this could be the dream Ian refers to .....all aspects of their history.

it's one of only videos in recent years that has something to meaningful to say, and does it superbly.

the hidden 'clues' excellent, I doubt if many get them all on first viewing. 'Made in japan' for example!

gotta say, after a few spins on the turn [sign in to see URL] is a hell of a live album.

faithful to their live sound, and a very strong performance.

as with NW and Infinite; the vinyl version is superior. much more dynamic range.

It's been a while since I've listened to a Purple live album as much as I've listened to Infinite the Live [sign in to see URL] crossed for a volume 2, and last but not least a proper blu ray release!!!

I haven't bought it yet, but is it really spelled "The surprisaing" on the back cover, like it reads on Amazon?

Having finally gotten into the "Infinite" CD(I can't stop listening to it), I have to say I really like this live CD. The band is full of energy and Gillan is in fine form. I would have never thought that, after 44 years of this being my favorite band, I would still be buying music made by them and enjoying it!
