Really interested to listen to the demo CD of 1987. Particularly Still of the Night if it's the original Blackmore demo that DC said it came from. I doubt it is, but what a revelation if he managed to secure the rights for that.

Classic Rock's anti-DC feud still alive and well I take it.

The working versions of Still of the night, Bad boys, Is this love, Looking for love, Crying in the rain and Give me all your love could have been found be found on the net from long time ago. And they are just wonderfull! If they are on the anniversary deluxe edition + working versions of the rest of the [sign in to see URL] would really be something.

I think I'll have to get the deluxe version. I wonder if the live tracks are from the Tokyo 1988 show that's been available as a boot for many years (mine is called Tokyo Bites) -the setlist certainly looks identical. I do remember talk of the Japanese gig getting an 'official' release before- so perhaps this would be the appropriate vehicle for doing so. It's a reasonable show- not earth shattering, but not bad either- probably a fair representation of WS on that tour.

If the live tracks are from that show, then the main draw for me from this upcoming release will be the demo tracks.
