Me too. It was pretty much a straight play from Machine Head. But,time was VERY close. Some of the crowd a bit surprised about no encore(s).Although, realistically, they did play some, they just didn't leave the stage for a couple of minutes. Cooper actually did.

I guess that with today's concerts the encores aren't real encores any more. It's clear from the beginning that they get played. For me, a real encore is something which isn't played if the musicians don't feel like playing an encore, and is played if they do. Leaving the stage alibi-wise for two minutes doesn't help that.

The same 5 songs from Machine Head every time don't help either.

It was what THAT crowd basically wanted to hear, judging by the reaction. Space Truckin' went over big even though I can't stand this version of the band's rendition of that tune. Still, saw a lot of people singing along to Time For Bedlam as well.

Yes, I also think that ST has now lost any significance since it stopped being a vehicle for the solo's.
If it just being played as 4-5 minute song then something from Infinite would be better.

Unfortunately, "Space Truckin'" hasn't been played properly since Mk 2 walked off the stage in Japan back in June of 1973.
