The new single (Collide) is now on YouTube and the band's Facebook page.

Good solid track, to my ears. Maybe not particulary inspired but I just love the sound of Hughes and Bonham together, a killer rhythm section!

Re: BCC IV

Collide sounds much more like Zeppelin than Purple.
Great track!

Re: BCC IV

any reactions so far??

waiting for my vinyl, but listened to most of the album from streaming. Sounds like a grower, with very good potential.

For those who care about fidelity;

once again, the mp3 (i.e Spotify) does not sound good. Another forum reports that the cd is not much better.
The same discussion reports that the vinyl sounds rather good, with an "Official DR value: DR11". (stream / cd comes in at 6)

Re: BCC IV

I've only played it once so far. Based on one listen, I wasn't overly impressed. It's not that it's bad, but it didn't grab me the way Glenn's last solo album did. I found both 'The Cove' and 'The Crow' particularly ponderous. However, I will persevere and maybe it'll all come good after a few plays

Agreed.

I picked it up first thing Friday morning and I've listened to it 6x already from beginning to end. Its tied with BCC 1 for me which I absolutely love.

Re: BCC IV

I find myself prefering Bonamassa singing over Glenn for this kind of music.
