Blackmore's Night compilation
Saw new double cd advertised on Amazon - To the Moon and Back - 20 years and Beyond.
Interestingly, on side two of the album is Land of Hope and Glory. So it was a BN song after all.

I was just a complete p1ss-take never mind a BN song!!
Just the usual bullsh1t for camp Blackmore, keep the fan-boys wetting themselves waiting for more material, pearls before the swine etc etc. It the usual game with Blackmore these days. He is totally having a laugh at the expense of his fans and enjoying it too. I'd guess he finds it so entirely amusing, that he only has to say he's recorded something, and suddenly the fan-boys go into overdrive about what it might be like and of course...... turns out to be a load of sh1te BN recording!! Big Surprise, not!

Agreed. Maybe I will head over to a Cliff Richard forum and ridicule everyone for being a fan.

It's neither a BN nor a Rainbow song. Especially when no BN or Rainbow personnel except Blackmore is involved.
And after all, it's an Edward Elgar tune.

True indeed!
Mr Blackmore probably downloaded a Midi-File from the interweb processed it in his home studio to change the instruments a little, played a bit of guitar on top of it and voila, he has a "new release" all his own work, no copyright issues presumably and he figures quite a few of his keenest fan-boys will download and pay for it, and so the magic works again!

Tad harsh mate but to be honest ANY long term Blackers fan is of course going to be interested in any new music he releases(especially if its playing the strat). Now whether they actually like it is another matter !!!.Sensibe thing to do is listen to any sample and decide whether its worth getting. The recent releases are obviously NOT

Re:
Yeah, but let's be honest: you buy a sandwich at a store and you spend enough money to buy you some 3-4 digital downloads...if you then want to drink some water with your sandwich, you are paying as much as you would pay for a budget CD. These days music is, price-wise, hardly worth the scrutiny; or are you guys thinking about the sandwich for a week, weighting pros and cons, before buying it?;-)

His latest "new releases" are about a disposable as a sandwich, and were well past their sell by date before they were released!!
Incidentally, just because music is cheap doesn't mean it's worth just buying either! Think what you had to do to earn that £1/$1 before you rush to spend it. I was told that maxim when I was 19 by a Jewish Millionaire, when I offered to pay for a coffee!! He was not wrong, if you want wealth ..... spend wisely and infrequently!!
