Rank the 2016/2017 gigs :)
So - we have a grand total of 6 gigs. If you have heard recordings/ seen the gigs - How would you rank these?
Please state the ones you attended

Re:
Been at all 2016 shows, saw and heard recordings of the 2017 shows.
For 2016 like DH: B'ham, Bietigeim, Loreley.
Comparing with the others is difficult. My guess would be:
B'ham 2017
London
B'ham 2016
Bietigheim
Glasgow
Loreley
All in all, I think they're closer together quality wise than earlier Rainbow or DP Mk II shows. Osnabrück 1995 was world class, Hamburg a few days later was crap, gaps like that weren't there now.

Re: Re:
I was at Birmingham 2016 and Glasgow 2017. Objectively speaking I think Glasgow was a better show - Ritchie playing more fluently and the band (apart from a few clunkers) were better.
However I'd rate the experience of Birmingham above Glasgow - seeing Blackmore play a rock gig for the first time in many years was simply a joy.

I would agree with this. I was also at Birmingham 2017 and would rate it (objectively) top of the three I saw.

Re: Rank the 2016/2017 gigs :)
Birmingham 2016 (I was at) for atmosphere and playing.
Birmingham 2017 - from what I have seen the best atmosphere of 17.
Glasgow 2017 - some good stuff.
Lorelie/Stuttgart 2016 - from the DVD so production may help but some good stuff.
London O2 2017 (I was at) - Playing, sound and atmosphere all poor for me. I was bitterly disappointed.
