YOUR TOP 3 ALBUM'S OF 2017 SO FAR.
The new classic rock magazine has a 2017 mid year preview.
What are your top 3 albums of the year so far?
My choices:
1 Tequila Mockingbyrd Fight And Flight
2 Black Star Riders Heavy Fire
3 Ezoo Feed The Beast.

Re: YOUR TOP 3 ALBUM'S OF 2017 SO FAR.
It's been a much thinner year than 2016, and I'm struggling for three albums that are "great".
I guess my top so far would be:
1. Bella Hardy - Eternal Spring
2. Deep Purple - Infinite
3. Twelfth Day - Cracks in the Room

So far, the top three:
Thunder "Rip it up"
Deep Purple "Infinite"
Styx "The mission"
I'm also enjoying the following:
Ayreon "The source"
Black Star Riders "Heavy fire"
Gov't Mule "Revolution come"
Siena Root "A dream of lasting peace"

Re:
I liked the Thunder album, but it's too much of the same. Thunder have a formula (and don't get me wrong, it is a good formula ) and they stick to it. So even though I always like their albums, they can't really excite me that much any more.
