Re:
And enough new songs.
But after each new album most (or all) songs from the previous album were dropped. So they never got the chance to become 'classic' .

Re: Steve - Lazy
i enjoyed both the Purpendicular and Abandon tours. The Abandon tour for me was the last tour DP had the wow factor, it all became a bit dull after that for me.

There aren't many Morse era songs which qualify for becoming classics. The only examples coming to my mind without thinking about it are Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming and Rapture Of The Deep. They could have become classics if they - as you say - had been played more often. The only songs played often enough to become classics are those which already were classics before Steve joined the band or which don't qualify for that as well, like for example Pictures Of Home.

its a SM widdle fest!!! has nothing of the bluesy jazzy feel of the original, and Don is no Jon Lord, though to be fair post reunion Blackmore played it way too fast.

Re: Steve - Lazy
I don't mind this line up's version of Lazy. Unfortunatetly, they seem to play it the same way every night(like a lot of their songs).

Re:
That clip lacks about 2 minute of Don´s solo mixed with improvisation before the actual song starts.

Re: Steve - Lazy
You got that right LITB. I like this line up but it seems that, when Lord left, much of the improvising went away. Of course, the Blackmore/Lord team were great at this!!
