I bought all my fav albums on cd or kept the Lp. And as a matter of fact, I am now re-buying them on Lp's (but keeping the cd). But I do regret selling some of my Lp's, if only for the covers. There are still a few that I need to re-buy. Randys, all those albums you mention are available either on cd or Lp (maybe the Phenomena is a bit harder to find). You could easily get a copy on amazon or discogs. The albums that I bought as a teenager definitly remain my fav albums. I don't know weither it's nostalgia or because it's linked to sweeter memories, or simply because they had a stronger impact because of a younger brain, but the fact is there. I agree totally about what you say about the early music remains the best, and disagree with those who always say you need to go forward. Not always, in some cases yes, but..nondisclosed_email@example.com (Concrete god)Thu, 30 Mar 2017 08:35:58 +0000 Re: Albums that you miss playing and listening to....https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p508164,from=rss#post508164https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p508164,from=rss#post508164None. VANDENBERG - Vandenberg (great album!) BADLANDS - Badlands (awesome debut, Jake Lee's guitar works are smokin') FASTWAY - All Fired Up (the singer reminds me of Robert Plant or Klaus Meine, but guitarist Fast Eddie Clarke rocks) BLUE MURDER - Blue Murder PHENOMENA II - Dream Runner MOUNTAIN - Nantucket Sleighride (awesome artwork, great songs) If I could only have these in physical form (vinyl or CD) again, I would take care of these and never let anyone borrow 'em. Would also reminds me of my younger days. What awesome albums are you missing and you want have again in your possession? nondisclosed_email@example.com (Randys)Sun, 26 Mar 2017 22:30:24 +0000
