Moving Pictures 2. A Farewell to Kings 3. 2112 4. Permanent Waves 5. Power Windows 6. Hemispheres 7. Signals 8. Grace Under Pressure 9. Hold your Fire 10. Rush 11. Fly By Night 12. Presto 13. He made a playlist of one of our favourite bands: Rush So for more than 7 hours we only listened to Working Man, Xanadu, Roll The Bones etc. It was real fun. But I have to confess that I prefer the albums up to Counterparts. After that they started losing me.i still bought every album, but they didn't excited me that much anymore. I miss the melodies, I have the feeling they started to be too progressive just to be progressive. The versions of the songs are so much more vivid and powerful than the studio versions. I think it was my first Rush Cd too. I played that one to the bone! It is an amazing live album indeed. At the time, I remember being quite confused and also amazed in seeing the same band going from "Caress of steel" to this in just a few years time. The adventurous depth of their vision got me. A few months later "Presto" came out and I couldn't believe they could reinvent themselves like that keeping such a high level. In retrospect, it's probably the farthest they got from their original sound, as later on, in one way or another they got back to a more simple and "actual trio" one, less orchestrated and layered.nondisclosed_email@example.com (fdr)Fri, 10 Mar 2017 23:42:10 +0000 Re: In a Rush mood.https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p507883,from=rss#post507883https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p507883,from=rss#post507883quote:fdr wrote: Big fan also here, since 1989 with a C90 tape of "Caress of steel" and "Hemispheres".
