Sabbtath The End...
Did anyone go to the recent Black Sabbath shows? I was offered the chance to go to the O2 but declined, I’m sure would have been good but didn’t really feel like i needed to sit in a large arena paying £80.00 odd to enjoy those songs. It seems the setlist was purely greatest hits, didn’t notice much from 13?

Plus it annoys me how they all but ignore Sabotage. We might get the opening of Symptom of the Universe to introduce another song, but that's it.

I think that songs like Hole in the Sky and Symptom are way out of reach for Ozzy. That's probably why they were left out.

Ah yeah, true...I know Megalomania or Thrill Of It All would be way too much to ask for, heh.

Re: Sabbtath The End...
I think that might be another issue of Ozzy's range...the vocal in the bridge is pretty high.

I went on Tuesday. I originally wasn't going to bother but glad I did. It was brilliant & they played just under 2 hours.
Yes S.B.S. riff was played as part of Tony Iommis spot ( solo) bit like when Steve Morse used to Do his Jukebox riff type solos.
I'd wish they had done the whole song though.
I'm going to choke on these next words....even Rival Sons were more enjoyable this time than when they were with Purple!

Rival Sons are a great band. I used to see them all the time when they'd play around Long Beach. I'm glad to see they made it fairly big. They deserve it.

When they announced they tour they specifically said it was going to be just classics with the exception of adding hand of doom - nice addition btw. My thoughts echo yours re cost and having heard it all before. Still kinda wish I went but that they didn't play anything close to Florida.

Re: Sabbtath The End...
Sabbath were an awesome band but like Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin all their great stuff was from the 70s (apart of course from Dio era Sabbath which was great too). The first SIX Sabbath albums are essential and consistently brilliant ,my personal favourite being SBS .Sadly Ozzy has been past it for decades now due to substance abuse ,and they really miss Bill Wards drumming as he was unique like Paicey..Still its sad to see the end of a legendary band and one of my all time favourite bands.Sadly time stands still for no one.I didn't go to the Glasgow show as i would rather remember them as they were and not the shambling mess that Ozzy has become.
