Re: UK and European tour 2017 - rescheduled dates
Wolverhampton got Might Just Take Your Life added to the set. Hope it's in there for Glasgow too. Also Nathan James from Inglorious guested on Burn, doing the DC vocal parts apparently.

That's quite an impressive set list john. Now if we're talking hopes. Tony Iommi has the night off between the 2 Black Sabbath O2 shows when Glenn is at Cambridge. Well I can dream, something from Fused!

Sabs are playing in Glasgow tonight too. The Hughes show is an early finish (10pm) so I suppose Glenn could hot-foot it over to the Hydro and do a guest appearance with Tony & co!

Re: UK and European tour 2017 - rescheduled dates
Absolutely superb show last night in Glasgow. Might Just Take Your Life stayed in the set. Glenn has assembled a really excellent band. I've seen Soren Andersen with GH before and he never fails to impress. Jay Boe is a real find on keyboards - some superb Hammond work. I just love watching Pontus Engborg drumming - apart from being an excellent drummer he obviously loves what he does!
So, a great band and setlist, and Glenn was on mesmerising form. There was a lower turnout than usual as there was a plethora of gigs in Glasgow last night - Sabbath at the Hydro, Tyketto at ABC 2 and White Buffalo at ABC. Glenn made reference to this and thanked the audience several times for making the effort to attend.
Highlights of the night were Muscle and Blood, Might Just Take Your Life, Medusa and You Keep On Moving.
I forgot to lift my camera as I was leaving home, but took a few clips with my phone. I'll also post a link to You Keep On Moving filmed by mikesmfc (he used to be an active member here), which is just tremendous!

Re: UK and European tour 2017 - rescheduled dates
As ever, I now regret NOT going- but find it really difficult to find the motivation to get myself through to Glasgow on a week night these days. Thanks for the clips though guys- look forward to watching them later. It's quite ironic that, having arguably been the biggest f**k up of all the ex- Purple members following the split, Glenn is the one that's still able to deliver to a standard which is not far off of when he was in his prime!
