A lot of times he is strumming, but what comes out of the speakers are "Blackmore 70s"!!??!!! Sorry, but is it possible that something is fake hers, just to earn a few extra bucks??? Hmmmm.... I don't know!!?!!

Compared to being there, over the rainbow and highway star triplets have been done. Maybe nothing else.

I don't think the solo in HS has been fixed. It's as sloppy as I remember it on the night emoticon ...and sounds the same on the bootleg

That's the ONE song I thought was better on the second night.
I get it why they included the first night though, for historical reasons

How Mistreated from Loreley was left out [sign in to see URL]'ll never know...

Re: Memories in Rock / First Trailer / Black Night

I went to the second german show and came away uninpressed to say the least. So only last week I convinced myself to buy the Memories in rock bluray, mainly for historical reason and for a bargain price. I have to say that, performance aside, it's really a great product: the playing is what it is but the image quality, the sound, the editing, the lights, booklet pictures is all top quality. A pity it lacks a good interview as a bonus with the man himself putting the shows in context.

I saw the Lorelei show on my own and thought it was poor and slept in the boot of a hired Audi in a field and thought, will I bother with seeing them again the next night. But met up with a friend in bietigheim, got really drunk, thought the show was so astonishing I was weeping. Just goes to show how the mood entirely affects your perception of a gig.

emoticon I know what you [sign in to see URL] mood and the atmosphere of the place where the show will happen are very important for me.

I have to agree the production of the finished product was/is really good, the film quality and sound is top class. The playing as you say is what it was, good some places, bad others, but so what, nobody cares much anyway, but the packaged product is definitely worth buying.

Great recollections boogaloo cheers. I had a similar feeling, wasn't sure i'd go to Stuttgart, went down anyhow, spent day in city, and went along anyhow 7pm wish, much better performance but as you say, conditions and mood can affect everything as Lorelei was very good in many places.
