Most tired performance of BN I've ever seen. RB's playing not the main problem but that there's no chemistry/energy. Sounds so tired.

Some people can't accept the fact that the new Rainbow delivered different interpretations of these songs, than the ones they're used to know.

Everyone wants it to sound like in the old days.

I'm very tired of that attitude. Why is nobody open for something new these days?
Is everyone really so nostalgic?

Personally I think its nicely shot and got that jazzy shuffle feel to it. Nothing wrong with that. Look what paicey did at the royal Albert hall in 99 with wring that neck.

Rather, HighwayFrog, accept that not everyone can be gushing about an inferior performance, which is what this is. It's got nothing to do with "different interpretations".

Re: Memories in Rock / First Trailer / Black Night

What people forget is that Ritchie didn't take this whole reunion so serious as you might think. The initial idea was just to get up on stage and jam these classics without too much rehearsals, and just have a big party for the fans. Sometimes people forget what Rock bands did in the early seventies/late sixties. They just went up and played and saw what came out. And this is exactly what Ritchie did with his friends here on stage.

If anyone thinks this reunion should have been the biggest thing in the world, they're wrong. That was never the reason to do that.

Rock n Roll isn't meant to be taken seriously. It's dangerous and nobody knows what's gonna happen, instead of the current DP touring band, where every show is exactly the same. It seems some people forgot that.

The excuses have to end. Now these performances are likened to the spirit of the 70s: "The bands just went up and did their thing".

Come on...

There is nothing dangerous about this performance, it's just poor.

Yes, that's what it was. That's what Rock n Roll is all about.

This band is simply wasted opportunity. emoticon I agree that Ritchie sadly didnt take it seriously enough, band seems desperately confused, under rehearsed and it actually seems to me that Ritchie himself actually didnt really know what he wants to do - it even seems like "let´s make it as bad as possible, I will not be asked to play hardrock anymore" attitude. Instead of attitude let´s do this as good as possible, the attitude was let´s go on short tour, but I dont want to do much work around that, and I actually dont care how it´s gonna end up because it´s not my main interest - which is very sad.

Ouch. Worse than I feared. And I was there.
No energy at all.
I can't hear any "jazzy feel". No jazz here. Wish it was. Just a substandard performance. Very pub band.
Ritchie's guitar sound??
I am surprised.
