This whole RRnHOF farce has left me dismayed and and totally pissed at guys i have admired for more years than i care to remember.

Me not. I lost a lot of respect for Ritchie Blackmore (as a human being not as a musician) long ago. And when I read today, that he wasn't in contact with his son for five years when the boy was five years old, I lost even more respect. How can a father be so cruel? And by the way LitB: It's still true that Ritchie refused to play with Deep Purple twice. We don't know the reasons behind that, but it stays the truth.

Unless you know the people involved personally maybe you shouldn't judge their personal lives mate ,your not in a position to do so .Let me ask you are you ok with the fact that Ian Gillan would drive his teenage daughter to school whilst he was bollock naked ? Thier professional/ public lives are there to be judged but everyone deserves a private life .And again I ask you what any of this has to do with the HOF farce ????

It has nothing to do with the HOF farce. I just wanted to point out that I lost respect for a certain member long ago. I didn't need the HOF farce. And I really don't judge anybodies life. But I do know, that it is cruel to leave your kid alone, unless you are forced to do so. (By the way: For me it's more embarrasing than drinving a teenage daughter bollock naked. There are millions of nudists among us, being naked is just normal for them, It hasn't anything to with sex, it's just a way to live.)

Ok so you admit that your post is completely irrelevant to the subject matter, thats good to [sign in to see URL] is why post it in the first place if you know that?As for Gillans naked exploits then yes its true to say that there are indeed many naturists in the world but as far as I know in the UK they are confined to camps and most certainly don't drive on public roads and turn up naked at schools to drop off their kids .If they did then they would be rightly arrested for indecent [sign in to see URL] as father of 2 sons and a daughter i find that kinda sick [sign in to see URL] for Ritchies family situation NONE of us know the truth behind that so best not to judge.

True. But it wasn't me who came up with things from their private lifes. But you're right: I won't do it again.

I couldn't care less if Blackmore joined them or not. It's his bloody right not to play, it's DP's bloody right to refuse to play with him. What's the big deal? Sure, it would've been nice, but it didn't happen. So what?

That could be the title of the upcoming new album. emoticon

How did you come up with that title? The reporter ask Glover.
That's Gillan response when ask about Blackmore not showing up at HOF. emoticon emoticon

New Ritchie Blackmore statement about HOF out of Rock Hard Magazine 27th May 2016:

What happened in April with the induction of Deep Purple into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame? Is it true that the Purple manager asked you, not to show up there?

Ritchie: Yes, that's right, I can proof it, I have it in black and white. The Deep Purple management didn't want me to play with the band. However, it's an entirely different matter if I ever had the time and inclination to do so.

And you had?

Ritchie: No. I had an operation on my finger and was still recovering from it.
