Original raw uncut-New cd

Has anybody else gotten the "new" Bolin cd: Original raw uncut?

A collection of rare jams from 73-76, with uneven sound quality, but rather good in general.

The only problem would be that track 7 (the longest on the album) has been mastered so low (in terms of volume) that you practically don't hear a thing. Plus they managed to screw up the digital transfer on that track and it skips...(remember the first release of the 25th anniversary of In Rock?).

Johnny Bolin should really take better care of Tommy's legacy!
Shame cause it's a good collection of jams.

I have been considering buying or downloading this but I'm aware that at least some of the material was on the previously released 'After Hours- Glenn Holly Jams' albums. How much of the material has been released before?

I wasn't aware that some Glenn Holly jams had been released before.

Where and when was that? On the archives?

But I saw that the songs on those two volumes are simply named "Jam", so it's hard to say...

Yes, that's the difficulty in that every song on the After Hours releases were entitled 'Jam'. However, it's some of the guys who have posted on the Tommy Bolin Archives site who suggest that some of the material on the new Uncut CD was also on these previously released albums. I also note that Philip Polimeni, who owned the studios and who was behind the new release, has just passed away so don't know what this will mean in terms of future volumes....
