Re: Post-Reunion Albums
Lord's solo in Cut Runs Deep is one of my favourites from him, all time. It's not Burn, but it just kicks in, and doesn't stop - I like how the vocals return (but only every other line is sung), but the soloing continues.

Re: Post-Reunion Albums
To me The Cut Runs Deep is biggest missed opportunity in DP history... If, just if it was made in 84 (on PS) or 93 on TBRO (with Mk2 lineup) it would become new Smoke On The Water - but it would want different lyrics, different sound (much heavier) and slightly different song structure - not so repetitive.... Turner´s singing in this track is unbearable.

Perfect Strangers
Purpendicular
Now what?!
HoBL
Bananas
Abandon
RotD
S&M
TBRO
I like them all too.
I listened to PS just yesterday, and it sounds very dated (especially the drums). I think that if it wasn't for nostalgia, PS would be lower on the list.

Re: Post-Reunion Albums
I just listened to HOBL yesterday for the first time in a long while and forgot how good it really is!! The full length "Strangeways"(on the original CD or cassette) is a classic!!!

I listen to it a lot. Only track I really can't abide is HLW.
