Why do they only play 3 songs off NW? They'll totally loose the momentum. It's been well over a month now since the album exploded in the charts and it doesn't seem to show during their concerts?
Only Vincent Price and ATTITW seems to work for them live. Body Line somehow felt out of place. And as for Above and Beyond (judging only by this low quality clip) it seems they don't know how to transform the song into a live masterpiece, really. It sounds a bit lethargic. I don't know, maybe it's a typical album-only tune. It's played almost note by note like on the album - no serious improvisation, it sounds so uninventive.
The good thing is that Gillan sounds really good and has that nice bluesy tone. It's a good song for him to sing.
