I will get it at some point, certainly if I've got a bit of money left over after Christmas, The Valentyne Suite is certainly in my "to get" list.

But yes, Hiseman probably has a Cockney accent.

That´s the east end one, right?

Well, you´ll see that then. Best you can hear it on The Reunion Concerts(his anouncments and banter is barely audible on the classic Colosseum Live).

Yes, Andy Powell almost certainly had a similar accent back then but I don't know about now...and Ted Turner probably sounded a bit like Ozzy Osbourne. emoticon

Ozzy has quite an extreme Brummie accent, the rest of Black Sabbath's classic lineup are more normal but I haven't known of a person from Birmingham that didn't sound like that.

But also to note, I'm pretty sure both Ritchie and Jon's accents are "cultivated".

Not at all, there's none.

My Dad's from Liverpool and I don't sound like a scouser...nor do I have perm or a shellsuit. :0

"My Daddy was from scotland and I couldn´t understand a single word he said to me until I was a man", actually makes a lot of sense then! emoticon

You need to have at least 5 pints in you before you can fully understand a Scotsman...which is why I can only communicate with them via the medium of text. emoticon
