Brave, or just daft, I don't know..... I like battle games, and in any combat simulation you need an 'enemy' by definition, so anything based on the world wars will inevitably involve the military and politics of many years ago. I think the least 'politically correct' game I've played lately is 'Delta Force: Task Force Dagger' where you get the chance to use a brilliant array of lethal weapons whilst clearing Afghanistan of undesirables. But the 'enemy' in this game are all stereotypical Middle Easterners who are really slow to react when you start to unleash the lead at them! When the last James Bond film was made, I remember that North Korea complained about the way it was portrayed! With so much peace apparently breaking out in Europe, they seemed to be the last 'real' enemy for him to fight against. But I don't remember the Soviets complaining about 'From Russia With Love'?! nondisclosed_email@example.com (Nighthawk)Sat, 15 Nov 2003 22:54:28 +0000 Re: the swedish rock chartshttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p25572,from=rss#post25572https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p25572,from=rss#post25572Ooooops! More so, yes. But the violence had been enough. There are plenty of other games that were band just for the blood or the violence(e.g. Doom, Resident Evil 2 etc...) If in germany a game is banned you´re not allowed (in a games paper) to re-print ANY screenshots of the game(even the harmless ones) and mention it´s name! The funniest advert for Doom I´ve ever seen was a black picture instead of a screenshot with the subtitle D**m below.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Milan Fahrnholz)Sat, 15 Nov 2003 13:15:29 +0000 Re: the swedish rock chartshttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p25568,from=rss#post25568https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p25568,from=rss#post25568quote:Milan Fahrnholz wrote: In germany (concerning the public and media) we are very generous concerning sex but very straight concerning violence. Also, the Nintendo version of the game Hitler had no moustache in the pictures and swastikas were transformed to crosses.
