Quite possibly my cup of tea, although the proof will be in the hearing. Mike Portnoy, Neal Morse, and Steve are all some of my favorite musicians.

Listening to the new Flying Colors cd right now. Maybe it will grow on me but right now I'm quite disappointed. I love Neal Morse and think he's little short of a genius but here he's too much in a background role and the choice to have somebody else singing, with a completlely different backgound, it's almost a suicide: too modern and distant from my tastes in voices. Steve Morse and Dave LaRue are as usual amazing but it's not enough. Think I'll pass on this and wait for the next Neal Morse solo cd.

It supposed to be out end of march. There are some snippets available on Steve Morse site.
The overall idea sounds very promising, I just have some doubts about the singer.
