Is it just me or is DA much more prominent on the european fall tour that is running right now..? I've never "heard" him better than now.
What a great version of HLM in Berlin!!

Great player, humble man! Good combination.
He's in a difficult spot. He get criticised for copying Lord, and if he doesen't copy his riffs he get criticised for that too.
IMO, he's doing a fabulous job in Purple, and I know a few people who are more impressed by him than Lord. A matter of taste I guess.

Agreed, he is really shining since last autumn tour. He is really bringing something to the band, a new dynamic, and his solos are usually highlights in the show, like the ones in Hard Loving Man and Almost Human on this tour.
I look forward to see him on his solo tour in April too...
