Re: Hi, I am new

Thanks Satch.

Alte,
well, purple fan after i heard the Deepest Purple Cassette from an Indian music shop. The cassete was so badly recorded but i loved it. Then i started digging for the albums of each songs. love gillan and Coverdale equally. dont like the cheesy Joe Lynn Turner at all.(..again i am not gay!)
MarkI--- is different, but i like it--Rod Evans sounds like Elvis?

One track minded people?
That would Brian Stephen and his inability to
let Deep Purple thrive,
More like mark2 minded. emoticon

Btw Brian Jones
you sound more than open enough not to let Purples growth
bother you too much.
Mark 1 colorful and fascinating,I say you have good taste.

Brian,

Welcome to our tree house, which by the way has been painted deep purple. No grownups allowed.

You may come away from this place with carpol tunnel, and a whole lot of eyestrain from your monitor, but I highly doubt you'll walk away bored. Enjoy.

Good Mr. Jones! Then we know the basic about you. With that view on mk JLT you'll have a great chance of surviving here emoticon

 That's a good one FatLArRyiNHiscAR.
I'd like to know how that Brian Stephen genius has impeded Deep Purples ability to thrive. I can only guess that they are still going to the bank with checks drawn out on the MKII catalogue and constant Blackmore Tribute tours. This Brian Stephen fella must be pretty powerful if he can affect Deep Purples (in)ability to thrive. Someday I'd like to shake his hand. How can a band grow when they are using a throwback from the 80's shredder on guitar?
I think that guy Brian Stephen has been with Deep Purples growth all along with the emergence of DP MIII, MKIV, MKV. I think his only gripe has been the MK-Morse lineup with it's "look what I learned at the music shop last Saturday" mentality.

Hi Brian,

Sounds like you will have a good time with what goes on here. Anyone who has to dig as hard as you do to get your hands on DP stuff is a big fan, like everyone else here. There certainly are some redundant story lines from some of the folks as you've seen already, but it's all just a matter of opinion or taste. Still all are big fans, even if all will not readily admit it.

Didn't DP perform on an island off the India shore fairly recently?

did they? dont know.
even if they did, i would nt be able to afford it though. The closest thing for me to Deep Purple is the colection that i have and fans like you, being some of you folks have already seen them.
