You are welcome to take pictures with non-digital equipment but for some reason digital is banned.
Most people with a 35mm were rushing to the front down the middle aisle and nobody worried about them at all.

Re: McPurple meets the stars

In Rothenburg we were standing in a big queue were no one could move. We always had to step aside when big trucks came to deliver the drinks at a point in time everyone thought "what sick mind drives them to deliver the drinks NOW?". We were in a small tunnel with almost no space to escape those trucks. I (with sandals on as usual in summer) had almost lost my feet due to this stupid trucks.

Then we were near the gate and the stood a bloody table in front of us saying:"First we let those with fan club passes in, then those in costumes and then people who stand in front of the table and not nearer the gate". Which was a trick of course as I was let in before those who stood in front of the table(who had to escape anyway of the press people who climbed over the table).

So there we stood on a tiny bridge, people in costumes and press people, the security people and a huge table in the middle of the bridge and the gate in front of us. Also the had build up huge barriers inside the tunnel in order to get less people in.

Then suddenly one of those security guys climbed up the table and said:"Everyone who has a camera take it back to the car". funny as no one could move and many people had their cars at the station or other side of town.

Blackmore´s Night´s management stinks! Carole Stevens must be a huge !@#$.

In Germen magazine Rock Hard I saw an article were was written that no one wearing a Deep Purple or a Rainbow T-Shirt should enter the concert-room for a BN cncert due to a wish of RB. Hard to believe. But true?

In Rothenburg at least I saw someone who had a T-Shirt that must´ve been about the SIUA era. BN concerts are a huge theatre as long as the concert hasn´t begun. The organistation is one of the worst I´ve ever seen and everything around it is really silly as well.

But in such a backround with that great atmosphere, hearing medieval and renaissance songs performed well within the castle walls on a warm summer night with your feet firmly on the grass, while everone is dancing and singing and leaving their chairs, and then seeing RB unleashing the power of his strat with some of the best ever hardrock songs quite makes up for it.
Sadly that´s rarly really the case.
