The band were still pals in '69 - '70, it was only later that they became enemies emoticon

Ooops, guess you're right. But I read somewhere on the internet that a certain member of the band was already at that time very manipulating.emoticon

The POP2 show exists in several different qualities, unfortunately not the entire gig.

I have Wring That Neck from this,
the quality is fair.
I can't burn the thing though but I'll find a way,
I have to change the format of the file.

I once read somewhere on the old board's a guy saying
he has the whole show.
This is only one guy though and it could be that
he just think's he has the whole thing.

What I would like to know from you MrSnip is,
are you aware of any film from that time that exist's to your knowlege?
Isn't there a Paris gig from 1970?

I like the Morse line-ups and agree that this Purple is better than no Purple at all, but I miss the Blackmore/Lord line-ups(MKII IS the greatest band of all time, IMHO)!!

DOGGONE,
I feel exactly the same way on both count's.
Before and after 1969 to 1973 there has been no band
that has come close to doing what they did(.)

The ideas and the flow of chemistry has not been prevailant
in any other artist whatsoever in the history of rock(.)

Every mark of Purple since then is as good as any band out there, but mark2 was special and better than anybody(.)

The fire that burned in them at the time will never be matched by anyone(.)
However neanderthal it may sound........
OR NOT emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Having said that I will take them for all they are currently worth......Which is still a whole lot IMHO.

Oh,that's ok,it's just interresting that this place, just around the corner of mine is such a well known fact in the whole world. It's a nice place for long walks and you can be very "alone" if you do so.They also placed a tiny museum at it's entrance.
