Lucky you! Herzog's documentaries are fantastic.
Have you seen Grizzly man? Awesome!

Re: Bought any new DVDs lately?
Finally picked up The Who Texas '75. No frills, no bonus material but the band was firing on all cylinders for this show and for the price ($9) can't complain. Great setlist to boot;
Substitute, I Can't Explain, Squeeze Box, Baba O'Riley, Boris The Spider, Drowned, However Much I Booze, Dreaming From The Waist (could've done without those two, heh), Behind Blue Eyes, Amazing Journey, Sparks, Acid Queen, Fiddle About, Pinball Wizard, I'm Free, Tommy's Holiday Camp, We're Not Gonna Take It, Summertime Blues, My Generation, Join Together, Naked Eye, Roadrunner, Won't Get Fooled Again, Magic Bus, My Generation Blues.

Yes I have! Enjoyed it very much. I've been in love with his films since the 90's when I first saw "Kaspar Hauser". I just saw "Encounters" and hope to find time tomorrow to watch "Forgotten dreams".
In the meantime, I just ordered Asia "Live in Usa" from Amazon.it for 0,01 euros!

RBB, do you know of any existing video material of Texxas Jam 1985..? I would love to see that! Or the Giants Stadium show in 1988?

Re: Bought any new DVDs lately?
According to Cooky Crawford, there isn't any filmed footage of DP from Texas '85. Mtv were there promoting the Meadowlands show in '88 but it focused more on GnR and Aerosmith than it did DP. I haven't seen any video show up even on the bootleg market from those two shows.
