As I've always maintained all the "it's all for the integrity of the music" PR is just complete PR drivel designed for consumption by abject simpletons, just like most of the PR from DP or Rainbow always was. If you believed it you were a muppet.
d) At one time Ritchie and DP were Kings of The Hill, but those days are long long gone. Multi Million sellers are just the stuff of dreams for them all now.
Incidentially Ritchie himself has said he was fed up with the Rock N Roll Circus and had "turned his back on the rock world".
Little wonder really when you figure how many complete pricks are involved in the business altogether.

Fed up with the touring show buisness factor,yes...but turned his back on the rock&roll world,may have been to you what he did,but I'm pretty sure you can't quote him as putting it that way.
