Either you have a double (triple?) lead guitar band with some background support from the keyboards (see Wishbone Ash), either you have a guitar + keyboard (preferably Hammond) band where both instruments are on an equal foot (like it was the case for "In Rock" for instance"). nondisclosed_email@example.com (Al Erikson)Fri, 30 Nov 2007 10:17:29 +0000 Re: Mark 6 Reunion w/ Satriani for 2008 (max of 40 shows) yes or nohttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p408112,from=rss#post408112https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p408112,from=rss#post408112quote:paintedhorse wrote: ...the Satch,JLT & Mk 1 versions of DP are not represented by official live releases...  MkI is/was represented with "Live at The Forum" aka "Inglewood '68".  The other two Mks mentioned are both also deserving of having live representations. nondisclosed_email@example.com (MrEd45)Thu, 29 Nov 2007 22:19:09 +0000 Re: Mark 6 Reunion w/ Satriani for 2008 (max of 40 shows) yes or nohttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p407779,from=rss#post407779https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p407779,from=rss#post407779quote:JohninNJ4you wrote: What's wrong with two guitar players for DP anyway? I'm not sure if I would think about it as Deep Purple, but that's less important to me. But that's pretty unrealistic. A DVD of one of the best shows Mk 6 did, however, should be possible to realize. I mean, they have the tapes. The shows were great. It's easy to produce the DVD's. It sure would sell as good as any Purple material these days.   nondisclosed_email@example.com (Atle)Wed, 21 Nov 2007 16:00:30 +0000 Re: Mark 6 Reunion w/ Satriani for 2008 (max of 40 shows) yes or nohttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p407689,from=rss#post407689https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p407689,from=rss#post407689quote:purpletemple wrote: No. I don't see any reason why it should happen.
