Pish tosh?
The hiring of Morse to replace Blackmore was pish tosh.
The albums with Morse that have been released as Deep Purple are pish tosh.

The post reunion albums with Blackmore whilst good/ok(not great) were not exactly grounbreakingly exciting either though were they Reborn? This band have been past it as far as new exciting material goes since and including PS.They most certainly were/are still not past it as a live band though

Perfect Strangers was worthy of being a Deep Purple album unlike any that have followed with or without Blackmore. They haven't been exciting live since the tour with Satch.

I would say they were exciting live up to and including the Abandon tour(we had live renditions of songs I thought i would never hear live like WABMC and No One Came etc etc) after that things became a bit stale and formulated but they are still a fine live band IMHO.Im afraid Satch does nothing for me brilliant technician as he is I really cant be bothered with guitarists who go for the 100 Million notes/sec style you could almost fit a speedometer on the stage and have a competition with Satch and Vai etc

Spot on!
