Child in Time missing
I was just listening to the Knebworth 85 cd and realized that Child In Time was missing...
That was pretty rare back then for them not to do C.I.T., and Gillan doesn't sound especially bad on the rest of the songs.
Anybody has an idea why it was removed from the playlist?

Re: Child in Tile missing
For a start off, they didn't actually perforn it on the day, & as to why that happened, well you're guess is as good as mine! And for what it's worth "Under The Gun" is also missing, & that they most certainly did perform on the day!

Yes, the tapes for Under The Gun and Woman From Tokyo got lost...

Yes, I double-checked with my "bootleg" version of the concert, and both Under the Gun and Woman from Tokyo are on there. But no Child in TiMe TIME tiMe M not L (as I wrote above)

I took the liberty of fixing that for ya, PT - hope you don't mind.

I always wondered this as they are on the bootleg LP. But how does anyone lose just those 2 songs? It isn't like there was a different tape for each song.

Ask Simon ;-)
Yesterday somebody at the DP hub said something about possible legal reasons, but I only have the info from the album cover too...

Re: Child in Time missing
That's true that when it comes to the bootleg version, they usually drop the legal reasons. at least regarding the rights to the composers...
