Re: Stormbringer - remastered
I've got it! The sound is more "up to date", and honestly I've forgot how great a album it is. It really has grown on me! It wasn't what you'd expect from a band like Purple, but it's a damn fine album anyway. In places very funky, soulful and Blackmores guitarsound goes from very gentle to raging. Gives me goosebumps every time!
I'm really glad that Glenn has taken time to "freshen up" the Burn and Stormbringer albums, and hopefully he'll do the CTTB album too.

Re: Stormbringer - remastered
I finally got around to writing this about the "Stormbringer" re-master...
Has anyone else noticed on track 3 "Holy Man," the pitch slows down (knocking it out of key) starting around 3:32?
For me, it was one more reason to hold onto the EMI version.
