I could think of more stuff from his solo stuff but as for Purple I´m not sure, there´s a couple of stuff on Purpendicular that´s pretty low and that´s what I liked about it, he didn´t push himself over the edge and sounded comfortable within his own borders. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Milan Fahrnholz)Tue, 12 Jul 2005 17:48:43 +0000 Re: Gillans lowest note...https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p17744,from=rss#post17744https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p17744,from=rss#post17744How about purple stuff??? I've never heard his solo stuff....out of purple all I can think of is Place In Line at the beginning...nondisclosed_email@example.com (daschrier)Tue, 12 Jul 2005 17:40:24 +0000 Re: Gillans lowest note...https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p17743,from=rss#post17743https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p17743,from=rss#post17743The lowest I can think of would be No More Cane On The Brazos from Naked Thunder, where there are parts where he sings REALLY low.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Milan Fahrnholz)Tue, 12 Jul 2005 17:37:51 +0000 Gillans lowest note...https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p17742,from=rss#post17742https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p17742,from=rss#post17742This topic came up in a debate on another board on which vocalists have a 4+ range, and of course gillan came up. The debate isn't whether or not Gillan could ever sing really high, its how he can have a 4 octave range with his current voice as he doesn't seem to sing that low. What's gillans lowest note sung on a Purple song, or even outside of Purple? Gillan states he starts at bottom E, but that is pretty low....dunno if I've heard him sing that low at all.nondisclosed_email@example.com (daschrier)Tue, 12 Jul 2005 17:31:57 +0000
