Re: Live In London - missing?
I bought the Japanese CD about 15 years ago for 40 Deutschmarks (which is around 20 Euros now). Well, Space Truckin' is missing (meanwhile I've got that on LLRO too), and perhaps the new CD will have better sound and more interesting artwork, but at least I didn't have to wait for ages to get the Japanese CD ...

Years ago, I was hanging out at a friend's CD shop. Some young guy came in with a box of used CD's to sell. I'm standing there as my friend starts going through the box. He turns to me and says, "There's a couple of Purple discs here. You interested in them?" He then hands me Japanese imports of Live In London and Last Concert In Japan. Of course I said I wanted them! After the guy left, I asked him much he wanted for them. He said he'd given the guy $4.00 apiece for them, so he'd give me the pair for $10.00. At the time, I didn't think either of them would ever get a UK or US release. This Time Around came out almost 10 years later, but who knows when LIL will finally make an appearance. I'm sure happy with the purchase of both of them!

Re: Live In London - missing?
Yes, I bought Last Concert In Japan on CD too, despite all what's wrong with that record. I didn't know whether it ever would be released in a better shape (more complete, better sound, whatever), and - as with LIL - I wasn't content to wait a decade or longer to get a better CD of the same show. Of course I also bought This Time Around when it was released, but until then my LCIJ CD had done its "duty" over many years.

Yeah, me too. I bought a Japanese import cd of LCIJ perhaps ten years ago, because I had no idea TTA would be released.
I bought my LIL cd in a great shop in Stockholm called Got to Hurry Records in Stokholm, again some ten years ago. They had almost every DP title as a Japanese cardborad sleeve.
Nowdays, there's another brilliant record shop in the old town of Stockholm, right behind the corner of the aforementioned store, called Mellotronen. It's specialised in prog and 1970s rock, as well as Japanese imports - Whereas Got to Hurry is even more specialised in its traditional field of 1960s pop and rock. The last time I visited Mellotronen, they had just about every DP title as Japanese imports there, but they're not in the net store for some reason. (If any owners/workers see this post, please give a discount for this free advert.)

Re: Live In London - missing?
Apparently there's a DPAS advert in the latest issue of Classic Rock Magazine. The advert has Live In London (2 CD set, remastered, restored, 20 page booklet, 30 minutes of extra material, due soon).

Re: Live In London - missing?
Could be that the cd will come earlier than the vinyl?
