Another brilliant show in Munich last night!

Ritchie was fantastic last night - Ronnie was singing amazing, the whole band was fantastic. Lots improvisation and unexpected surprises like for example Carry on Jon. In Black Night Ritchie did a bit of Lazy, which was great, too! Mistreated was absolutely mindblowing last night, as well as Stargazer. For me there was no really bad thing in that show, except the fact that I was hoping for Child in Time.

Thank you Ritchie for your maybe last German Rainbow show! A great end if it should have been the farewell.

Great picture!
How I'd love to trust your review. So much that I think I'll believe it and won't even look at those videos! emoticon

Much more confident, engaged in the rhythm parts, in time and with higher energy levels. I have only watched snippets but I see definitely a much more enjoyable show. It also seems like the guitar is louder in the mix, but it could be the fact I watched on the phone.

Ritchie has changed his guitar tone drastically for this tour. Lot more gain and overdrive.

is it really any different? I'd love to think so, anyhow seems a great show in Munchen despite the setlist. carry on jon on electric was a fantastic surprise, and worked really well, going into Burn - some of the old energy and fist pumping seemed to be back. great version!

must watch the whole show!

WOW now that was more like it from Blackers emoticon looks like i was a bit hasty in completely writing him off as being finished ?
Its a pleasure to be proven wrong in this case.
Begs the question as to just how good it would get if he played maybe 10 gigs as he does seem to improve as these mini tours progress.
Obviously his medical conditions have a bearing on things too but those clips are very good and great to see from my all time musical hero emoticon

Stefan

I have been one of the main offenders for saying how bad Ritchie has been - I'm prepared to say I'm wrong (on last nights show).

he looks animated - ditches the slide when not needed -and is playing like he enjoys it. Glad you had a great time and glad he can still pull something out from time to time.
