Graham Bonnet revisiting DTE live

Should be a fun night. He's probably going to release a live album from the may Japanese dates with Down to earth and the first Alcatrazz album in full.
(By the way, where's ChattyPancake when you need him?)

No official live album in sight yet from these dates but the bootleggers busy covering them:

Re: Graham Bonnet revisiting DTE live
I'm back after a few years away. Thanks for remembering me, fdr! DTE, AA, and No Parole are Bonnet's strongest albums. An official live album from those shows would be fantastic.
I've heard both of Alcatrazz' latest albums and I think the one with Doogie White is much better (his voice has aged beautifully), but Graham's still my favorite singer.
Hope everyone's been well.

Re: Graham Bonnet revisiting DTE live
I'd be wary of paying to see any 'live' acts these days given cost and use of 'technology '

Hi ChattyPancake! I heard the singles from the last album with Doogie and for me there's too much double bass drumming. Too close to power metal. I read an interview with Jimmy Waldo saying that's the very direction they wanted to follow. I thought "Born innocent" was good, maybe a little lacking in production.
Regarding Doogie, I just bought the new 2cd version of his solo "As yet untitled" album, and it's very good! The second cd is a collection of interesting covers (Whitesnake, Maiden, Rod Stewart, etc.)
