Come on, fellas, listen to the interview with Ian yourselves. doggone didn't catch the irony. Ian and the host weren't taking it seriously. Kentucky Woman was brought up as a joke, a turkey. Don't expect to hear it live.

As for Bob Ezrin taking another turn as a producer I fully support this decision. He seems to have become a friend which I think is a crucial element for the guys in the band at this stage of their career, and their life, too.

My only two complaints are in regard to the sound of the album and the use of effects. Infinite sounds to me very uneven when compared to Now What. Drums in particular. Sometimes they sound too unnatural or simply awful, like in Get Me Out of Here. This also applies to some of Morse's parts.

As for the effects I just hate any effects added to Gillan's voice, and there's some of it on Infinite. He still has that original tone, and still can use the higher parts of his voice (which he proved on the Javelins album). Why waste such an opportunity and not make as much use of it as it's still possible.

Sorry if I didn't catch the irony about Kentucky Woman. emoticon Still, it would be nice to hear something by MKI other than Hush. I still play those MKI albums a lot. Great Stuff!

C'mon - "Soon Forgotten" is a "helluva" song, one of my favourite in Mk Morse catalogue, on "Purpendicular" on par only with "Loosen My Strings" (yes, I know it's an OT, but couldn't refrain from commenting on this one emoticon )

tomekdp, agreed. Both Soon Forgotten and Loosen My Strings are fantastic songs. The hammond work and seemingly simple progression of chords on Soon Forgotten is a terrific idea and works beautifully with Gillan's vocal line. Loosen My Strings has a beautiful bass line and lovely background keyboard by Lord. For me none of the later albums was that ecclectic. I think in many ways it's the best Morse-era album.
