LOVE every second of WDWTWA...including Painted Horse. When I play the Burn album, A200 isn't the track I pass on, but "What's Goin' On Here" sometimes is.

Our Lady is great. For A200, I don't like that track. But that goes for most of the MKIII tracks.

I agree here. WDWTWA is an excellent album. It had the unfortunate distinction of following Machine Head, though. As some have pointed out, it seemed to be a collection of jams, so to speak, rather than being a cohesive effort.

As for MKIII, blah. I never cared for Coverdale or Hughes in DP. In their own bands, they were quite good, but just ruined DP for me. Blackmore, Lord and Paice were at the top of their game, but these two wankers just made me cringe. Ugh. emoticon

Thinking about it, as much as I like A200, I prefer Coronarias Redig to it.

Redig is a swedish word and means "able to"..
Very old word, probably Viking.

I assume by "culprit" you mean the least favourite songs?

For me-and even though I don't find a single bad track on those two records:

Woman from Tokyo, not the best track on WDWTWA and slightly over-heard.

What's goin' on here, great boogie/ fun track but surely the weakest link on the album.

I still rate Burn as the best dp studio album.
