Morse Era compilation

I've just updated my IPod to include an "album" of Morse era only tracks. I restricted the available tracks to soundboard versions ONLY even if they were bootlegs. This is my final list. I excluded a number of tracks i don't like- Watching The Sky, I've got your number etc.

If I've missed a blistering performance worthy of inclusion let me know. (lights blue touch paper and retires...)

Have a look at Perihelion from 2001-2002, Fla. A pick of great numbers here.

Just four tracks from later than 2006 and not a single track from between 2006 and 2013 - were they so bad at that time, or aren't there good recordings existing? Or is it due to the fact that there wasn't a new album between 2005 and 2013?

Re:

The live albums dried up after 2006. There's only Montreux 2011 when they were playing with the orchestra (which to my mind didn't add much)

There's nothing "official" for the Bananas tour and only a few tracks from the "rapture" tour released but they are all good. The gap after Rapture is massive and coincided with a real dip in the live performances (IMO). They didn't play anything from Now What that i really liked. I love Wierdistan, Simple Song, Blood from a Stone, Out of Hand but they never played them. I don't care much for Uncommon Man or Above And Beyond (both played live a lot) and Apres Vous and Bodyline (both played live) i actively dislike

This surprises me as they must have done zillions of shows from 2007 to 2012.

I would add "All I got is you" from the BBC 2017 gig emoticon

#1 on my "I wish Purple did this before they end" bucket list is that they would do complete Morse era albums live. Smaller venues, get the die hards in who know the material, film it - and put out a great box set.

a man can dream...

I LOVE the live version(s) of "Things I Never Said."

It's a case of a song finding it's feet in the live setting.
