As I said a while ago: What Blackmore does is interesting, even if it's pure crap. Thanks for the confirmation.
Something being interesting doesnt have to mean positive thing....

However, you seem to have a reason to see the show.

Re: Re:
Edit:
Sorry those numerous "quote" things made it confusing.
My point was that current Rainbow are IMO by far the weakest band in current DP family. Despite that, it´s the final (and the only) chance for me to see Ritchie playing rock-only type of gig. That´s why I´ll go, but as I said, my expectations are very low.

Ah, you want to enjoy the moment in which you know that it's over?
Seriously: It's your decision of course, you don't owe anyone an explanation. If you post a review of the show, I'll read it, and don't worry, I can stand the truth.

Re: Rainbow - Prague, Czech - O2 Arena - 20.04.2018
... I can't see the point in challenging a person's decision to go and see "the band". What value does it create? None.
I live in Prague and I'm going too. I don't need to explain why or why not ... it's my decision - irrespective of what I may or may not have said or written previously.
I guess what some forum members are hoping for is a bit of schadenfreude?

In my case it has nothing to do with that. I know that ptr isn't the biggest Blackmore fan on Earth, he even denies his relevance for current DP. So I was a bit surprised to read that he is going to see a band which he repeatedly slagged off in his posts. Myself I never saw DP MK VIII live, and I'm not going to do.
But as you pointed out correctly, it's everyone's own decision which shows to attend. If ptr (or whoever) regrets his decision after the show, there's no schadenfreude at all, at least not from me.

Re:
I guess I have a similar situation in November, as I will be going to see current DP in Birmingham. My hopes are not high but I do enjoy listening to SM and DA and this will almost certainly wrap up my attending any DP family shows.
I am hopeful of a good night out and maybe a few surprises and a bit of excitement.
Hopefully ptr will enjoy the show, but if not I hope he has a good night out.

This is my thoughts about seeing them in Moscow too. I see it more as a happening really. And the fact that my all time favourite guitar player won't do that many more gigs in the future.
The "last chance" scenario really.
I do hope they will play 95% Rainbow!
