Yes thanks I'll be happy to watch the DVD and doubtless enjoy it too. Last years was great I thought, appropriate and great, mistakes and flaws an all. As for attending these arena gigs........ not even if you bought my ticket and arranged helicopter transport to each venue at your expense! and Not even if you paid me either! That said, I hope they are good gigs none the less for those that go.

I hope you are right and maybe the massive £30 discounts on reseller sites will help.
Nevertheless, still looks like plenty of tickets on sale here
AXS - Rainbow tickets
You'd be mad to pay these prices mind - given what's available on Stubhub, Viagogo etc

Re:
pisses me off this ticket sales thing. Apparently close to sold out the first day, and then they start popping up everywhere. Was there even tickets in the first 3 block available in the general sale on ticketmaster??
anyways - fingers crossed for a good first night, and that it will be featured on a dvd

Absolutely, I paid £65 x 3 for Block 419 as it was about all that was left on 7 December. Block A2 tickets now going for as little as £40 on reseller sites.

That's the thing about the UK....
All these shows are supposedly sold out right away, but none of them ever are. Usually it's block buys by the agencies who either make a massive profit by selling at a premium, or they've received a huge discount on face valve and make a massive profit selling to you at a discount, or they break even if it's not selling well or god forbid, they make a loss on some shows if they guess demand wrongly.
Either way as a concert goer you just get f*cked whichever way it goes. Sometime some mugs paid a lot more than you did to see the same show, other times you are that mug and paid too much. Whichever way, you can't win and so might as well stay home and get the dvd afterwards, which will be better quality and instead of eing treated like cattle, you can enjoy it from the comfort of your own home. After all chances are you'll be watching it on a screen anyway at these big arena venues, so what is the point. I guess down the pub you can say "I was at the concert, it cost a fortune" and all your mates go "yep, what an arse you are!
