IG greatest recorded DP (studio) vocal performance 70's
When everybody else was either crooning or belting out the blues IG's vocals had a unique personality.
Which one DP studio track from 70's was his greatest moment ... Child in Time ?

Re:
I've always liked his vocals on Smoothe dancer, our lady and painted horse. Can't imagine many others pulling them off. Clever layering on PH. Soaring vocal on our lady. Effective double tracking on Smoothe and very cheeky melody.

Re:
My own personal favourite Ian Gillan 70s studio vocal is Fighting Man during the Gillan days.
With DP though CIT,Fools and Place In Line because it was so different and showed another side to his vocals.

In my opinion, he was at his absolute vocal peak on the entire SCARABUS album. His vocals are just superhuman in the intensity of his range, depth, and variety there.
