Speed King on Purplemania 1CD really from 1973, in London?
Anyone at all know if the version of "Speed King" on the 1CD "Purplemania!" (Burning Machine Heads label) is actually from 1973, in London, as it's claimed to be?
And is it possibly the only version ever of "Speed King" from '73? When & where (else) did Deep Purple play "Speed King" in '73?

I don't know that CD. If you post the complete set list, it might be possible to find out whether it can be from 1973.

So Speed King is the only song of the CD said to be from London 1973. Hm, don't know ... perhaps they played it as an encore.
